Academic Intervention at AGS

At AGS, our intervention program is thoughtfully designed to support students’ academic growth by responding to their unique learning needs. Guided by insights from MAP, NGRT, and MindPrint assessments, we deliver targeted support during the school day to ensure timely and effective learning interventions.

Students receive small group instruction tailored to specific areas of need. In the early years (KG and PYP), we implement the Read Write Inc. program to build foundational literacy skills, while students in the MYP benefit from the RIGOR framework, which strengthens comprehension, fluency, and academic confidence.

Our team includes dedicated Reading Specialists in both English and Arabic, who work alongside classroom teachers to provide personalized interventions that are linguistically appropriate and academically focused. This collaborative approach ensures that every child receives the support they need in both core languages.

By embedding intervention into the school day and grounding it in meaningful data, AGS equips students with the tools and strategies they need to succeed—academically, socially, and beyond.
