Student Council
Today’s students are tomorrow’s pilots, engineers, doctors, entrepreneurs, innovators, and world leaders. At American Gulf School, we believe leadership begins in the classroom — with a voice, a vision, and the courage to make a difference. From the very first step of a truly democratic voting process to active participation in decision-making, teamwork, and leading initiatives, our students experience leadership in action. Through their Student Council journey, they develop responsibility, respect, confidence, communication skills, and the ability to inspire positive change within their school community.
Our Student Council empowers students to lead, represent, and amplify the voices of their peers while strengthening the connection between students and school leadership. Students take an active role in school life by leading assemblies, organizing key events such as International Day and World Mental Health Day, and contributing ideas to important school decisions in collaboration with relevant educational authorities and school leadership.
Even during challenging times, including periods of online learning, our students have demonstrated remarkable flexibility, resilience, and determination. Their ability to adapt and continue leading with positivity reflects their readiness to succeed in an ever-changing world. We are proud of every student who chooses to lead with kindness, confidence, and purpose. At AGS, we are not only shaping successful students — we are shaping the leaders of tomorrow.
Fazza Team at AGS
At American Gulf School, we believe every student deserves the opportunity to shine. Through our collaboration with the Fazza National Team, our students are empowered to grow, participate, and lead with pride, purpose, and confidence. The Fazza Team at AGS plays an important role in connecting the school’s vision with the values and aspirations of the UAE. This partnership inspires students to support national initiatives and actively contribute to school and community development. Our Fazza student leaders help organize and support events, promote inclusion, and take part in meaningful initiatives that reflect teamwork, responsibility, and national pride. They also assist in school activities that strengthen student engagement and encourage a spirit of unity and collaboration.
Through this experience, students develop leadership skills, confidence, and a strong sense of belonging while contributing positively to both their school and their country.
