Please follow these easy steps to enroll:

STEP 1

Submit required documents for assessment via email to admissions@ags.ae or via WhatsApp on +971 56 999 0871

For international enrollments from outside the UAE, it is important for parents of children enrolling into Grade 2 or above to finalize the Transfer Certificate and Report Cards attestation process prior to leaving the country they are residing in

  • Copy of student’s passport
  • Latest progress reports from the last two years (Reports must be translated to English with an official stamp)
  • If available, copy of recent Standardized Assessments results (MAP, CAT4, etc.)
  • If applicable, copy of any previously identified special educational needs including individual educational plans (Psych Ed, IEP, ILP, etc.)
STEP 2

Pay the application processing fee and schedule an assessment

An application processing fee of AED 525 per student (inclusive of VAT, non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-deductible) must be paid after submission of documents and completion of online application form to proceed with the assessment. Please refer to page 3 for payment details. If students are based outside of the UAE and unable to attend an assessment in person, we can send our assessments to their current school. Please note that a completed application does not guarantee admission to American Gulf School. The application processing fee is non-refundable for denied admissions.

STEP 3

Admissions Committee reviews assessment and student’s profile

Once all the required documentation has been completed, submitted, and checked by the Admissions Committee, a decision will be communicated to the parents/guardians within 2 to 3 days (further interview might be required). Offer letters will be sent to successful applicants.

STEP 4

Acceptance

Once the applicant is accepted, a non-refundable registration fee of AED 1,000 will be required within 10 working days to secure the seat. This fee is adjustable against the joining term’s tuition fees. The term’s tuition is due prior to the student’s first day of school. Completed forms and remaining documentation must be submitted to the Admissions Office with the registration fee.

  • If transferring from a school within Sharjah – please inform the current school to complete a transfer via the SPEA System. This is for all Grades.
  • If transferring from a school in another Emirate – please ask for the report card to be stamped and signed by the school and for the TC to be attested by the educational body within that Emirate. This is for all Grades.
  • If transferring from outside of the UAE and the application is for Grade 2 and above - the certificate should be completed on your child’s current school's letterhead and signed and stamped by the current school. This is done close to the withdrawal date to reflect your child’s last day of school.
