About Our Programme
At American Gulf School, we are proud to introduce a Montessori-inspired Early Years environment designed to nurture independence, curiosity, confidence, and a true love for learning.
The Sensitive Periods, Ages 2–4
The early years, especially between the ages of 2–4, are the most important years of child development. During this stage, children experience what Dr. Maria Montessori called "Sensitive Periods" — unique windows of development where children naturally absorb:

- Movement
- Order
- Concentration
- Independence
- Social skills
Children absorb all of these with incredible ease during these sensitive windows.
