Campus Director
Ms.Vanda Gammoh
Vanda Gammoh is an educator with over fourteen years of education experience. Ms. Gammoh recently joined us after working in the Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) in the Education Improvement team as a senior specialist for American, SABIS, and IB in Abu Dhabi private and charter schools. In addition, she filled the position of Acting Head of Assessments, focusing on internal and international assessments.
Mrs. Gammoh is an IB Examiner and has filled multiple positions as a Personal Project Coordinator, as well as an MYP coordinator and a DP teacher. She holds a master’s degree in educational leadership from Abu Dhabi University. Mrs. Gammoh had completed over 20 IB workshops. Vanda is a curriculum design specialist and consultant throughout the MENA region, known for her rigorous curriculum design workshops that focus on K–12 American Standards delivery through the IB program. She has also been training and coaching international educators on best practices in education for over eight years. Vanda is serving as a Cognia review team member for international schools’ accreditation.

Acting Principal
Mr. Adam Fitzgerald
Mr. Adam Fitzgerald is an experienced IB leader and educator with a history of outstanding leadership, teaching, and learning. Mr. Adam graduated from Mary Immaculate College in Ireland with a BA in English and History in 2012. Adam moved to the UAE to start his teaching career, completed his PGCE in International Education in 2015, and also holds the prestigious National Professional Qualification for Headship from the United Kingdom.
Having worked in outstanding schools across the UAE, Mr. Adam has a great deal of experience across the multiple facets of international education, holding a range of middle and senior leadership roles. Mr. Adam joined AGS in 2022, holding the positions of Vice Principal and Head of Secondary. Mr. Adam has previously been Deputy Headteacher and MYP Coordinator for three years. Adam is very experienced in the IB, having held the positions of Lead MYP Coordinator for the UAE IB Association, IB Evaluation Leader, and IB Examiner at both MYP and DP levels. Mr. Adam’s areas of expertise include well-being, teaching and learning, and curriculum development, having worked in various curricula.
Mr. Adam’s goal is to make AGS one of the most prominent schools in the UAE for top-quality education, preparing students for a dynamic and ever-changing world.
Vice Principal & Head of Secondary
Ms. Erika Elkady
A Dutch national with nearly two decades in Dubai, Ms Erika joins us with a wealth of experience in international education. She began her journey in 2007 as Middle Years Programme (MYP) Coordinator and quickly rose to Deputy Head. Later, she served as Head of Secondary for 11 years before becoming Vice-Principal in 2022. Ms Erika is a lead member of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Educators Network, supporting schools globally. Her credentials include multiple master’s degrees and the UK’s National Professional Qualification for Headship, reflecting her dedication to educational excellence. Passionate about character education, Ms Erika advocates for students' holistic development, contributing articles on well-being to international school publications.
